Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
I am definitely having reading withdrawal from not reading at all last week, but for a few pages here and there in between working 10-12 hours a day at a 150 team basketball tournament. I arrived home late Saturday night and did nothing yesterday but sit in a lawn chair and read.
I finished up The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker.
My son and I listened to Private by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro on audio while driving to and from the tournament.
I am half way through An Echo in the Bone audiobook that I listen to while I walk daily.
Up Next:
Burning Lamp by Amanda Quick

wow, that's a long day - hope you had fun! I really need to start reading Diana Gabaldon's series - they are collecting dust on my bookshelf :o Happy reading!
Wow you were busy last week! I am impressed any reading/listening was accomplished. I hope this week is a little more low key for you. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/07/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-5.html
Can't wait to see your review for "Private"

I am also interested in Burning Lamp. I'll be interested to see what you thought.
Enjoy your reading week!
I was caught reading a book at the basketball tournament this past weekend. It's not like our team was playing, we were just watching 2 other schools because we had to play one of them in our next match-up, but the boy's coach couldn't believe I was "reading...at a basketball game ...that is just sooo wrong." LOL
Interesting ones. Enjoy your books!
Here is my post!
You have been busy! I hope to listen to Private soon. How is Echo in The bone on audio?
Have a great week!
Private looks interesting - I'll look for your review. Never read anything by James Patterson, and this one sounds intriguing. Hope you have a great week of reading!
150 teams...sounds like madness!!! I'm almost done with Breath and Snow...200 pages to go!!
Have a great week of reading and hopefully relaxation!
Yes I'm finding since I'm doing some serious and long overdue yard work, my reading time is suffering. I can't listen to a book and supervise my husband, my reluctant assistant,at the same time.
It's hard to read after such long days...hope your long and relaxing day of reading helped.
I'll be eager to learn what you think of the audio version of Private. I just received it in the mail, and I'm a little nervous about it, since audio isn't my favorite format.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
