What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

Last week we had a visitor that helped me to get quite a bit of listening done in A Breath of Snow And Ashes by Diana Gabaldon while we took a walk daily.  Saffron came to visit while her family went on vacation.  It was as much a vacation for her as well as she has 5 boys ranging from age 10 to 2 in her family!

Books Read:
Shamless by Karen Robards (fun historical)
Ransome’s Crossing by Kaye Dacus (think jane austen & horiato hornblower)
Too Much Money by Dominic Dunne (meh)
Fragile Beasts by Tawni O’Dell (family dysfunction at its finest)
Hush by Kate White (page-turner)
Healer by Linda Windsor (great early church historical)
Mockingbird by Katheryn Erskin (YA asperger girl deals with death of brother)

After the Kiss by Terra Elan McVoy (YA told in verse)

Up Next:
Splendor by Anna Godbersen
The Dead Travel Fast by Deanna Raybourn
Seaside Letters by Denise Hunter
Though Waters Roar by Lynn Austin

Reviews Posted:
Dirty Little Secrets
She's Come Undone
Ransome's Crossing

I like the one written in verse. That's really interesting. I didn't know about Tawni O'dell's new book.

I am having link troubles. This is the only blog I can visit today. I need to try and fix the problem.

I love that name-Saffron. She looks like the color of the spice she's named after!! I think I need to listen to Breath of Snow too. I'm going to see if my library has it on audio!!Enjoy your week Nise!!!

These look very good...I guess you didn't like the Dominick Dunne book? Maybe I'll wait on that one, then...

I have Hush on my stacks and it's coming up soon.
