What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

It was a busy, but gorgeous weekend here that helped us to clean up around outside in anticipation of my son's high school graduation open house as well as getting some reading done.

Books Read:
YA:
Marcelo in the Real World by Francisco X. Stork (excellent, will be on my favorite reads of 2010)
The Alchemy and Meggy Swan by Karen Cushman (cute)
Dirty Little Secrets by C.J. Omololu  (heartbreakingly good)
Adult:
Drawn in Blood by Andrea Kane (enjoyable romantic suspense)
A Tailor-Made Bride by Karen Witemeyer (spunky heroine, predictible but good)
Abbie Ann by Sharlen Maclaren (always love Shar's books)

Up Next:
Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers
The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott
Broken Soup by Jenny Valentine
Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen

Reviews Posted:
Beautiful Creatures
Refuge on Crescent Hill
Tangled
Forget Her Nots
The Bride Collector

You had a very good week. Any tips at how you can read so many books?
I still haven't found out the secret. I must be doing something wrong..and right now, due to recuperation, I don't have the responbility of daily chores.

Looks like you had a great reading week! Dirty Little Secrets is one I'm interested in - sounds really intriguing, but really disturbing, too.

I love Marcelo in the Real World too. It was the first book I reviewed when I became a book blogger, and it's still one of my favorite YA novels.

I can not wait to read your upcoming thoughts on your first list of books. Sounds like I'll be adding quite a few to my Blame it on Nise list!
