Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
If you participated in the Read-A-Thon, have you recovered? I sat around all day yesterday recovering!
Last week two of the seven books I read were very depressing reads. Shadow Tag by Louise Erdrich and The Unnamed by Josh Ferris. Thankfully the rest of the books I read were not as depressing:
Fired-Up by Jayne Ann Krentz,
The Broken Teaglass by Emily Arsenault
Die For You by Lisa Unger,
Life Sentences by Laura Lippman
Crazy Beautiful by Lauren Bratz Logsted
This week I am choosing from:
The Dust of 100 Dogs
Watersmeet
Blue Plate Special
Blood Vines
Maggie Rose

Congrats on the read-a-thon!!! I would need a whole weekend to recover LOL
I've heard amazing things of The Dust of 100 Dogs, hope you enjoy!
I don't thik I could stomach The Unnamed, the premise is just to hearbreaking!!!
WOW! Great job on the reading last week and quite a plate this week! Good Luck and Happy Reading!
I bought Blood Vines because I liked the cover. It's one of the few times I've actually done that.
Enjoy your reading week!
I have Life Sentences from the library. I still need to get to that one. :)
I actually did recover surprisingly well from the readathon. I biked and roller bladed yesterday.... and cleaned up around the house. No idea where that spurt on energy came from except maybe because I did nothing Saturday but sit and read and cheer. :)
Have a great week Nise!
I haven't read any of these books but they all look good to me. Have a wonderful week of reading!
Congrats on reading so much for the read-a-thon. Hope you recover soon :)
