Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
"The sad, ripe odor of death seeped from the entrance to the abandoned mine. Some FBI agents get used to this smell, to this moment, and after awhile it just becomes another part of the daily routine. That's never happened to me."The Knight by Steven James, page 7

I can't imagine having a job where the smell of death is a natural thing. Ugh.

This looks like a good book! I haven't read anything by him yet. Mine are posted here!
Sounds like a good thriller. Here's mine!
Great teaser, sounds like my kind of book. Thanks for visiting my blog!
I've read them all except the first in the series. Don't you feel the scenes with his daughters are good stress relievers between the tense scenes?

I don't know how you could ever get used to it--the smell or tragic death. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.
Oooh, sounds yucky but very creepy. I love that! Might have to look at this one. Great teaser!
I love, love, love this series of Steven James books. I'm not sure why I've never posted about them. I just might have to! :)
