A chunkster is 450 pages or more of ADULT literature (fiction or nonfiction).
The levels of participation and complete rules can be read here.
Last year I signed up for "Do These Make My But Look Big" (3-5 books) and ended up reading 14 chunksters. This year I'm choosing the "Mor-book-ly Obese" level and read 6 or more chunksters.
Chunksters Read:
The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova
The Endless Forest by Sara Donati
Here Burns My Candle by Liz Curtis Higgs
South of Broad by Pat Conroy
Her Mother's Hope by Francine Rivers
Roses by Lelia Meacham
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb
First Family by David Baldacci
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Steigg Larsson
The Heretic's Wife by Brenda Rickman Vantrease
The Passage by Justin Cronin
The Bishop by Steven James
Juliet by Anne Fortier
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
The Search by Nora Roberts
A Hope Undaunted by Julie Lessman
Secrets to the Grave by Tami Hoag
Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes

Good luck with this one Nise. I joined too for 2010 (new challenge for me). Have fun!
You read 14 Chunksters in one year?! You deserve some kind of special award. Congratulations!
I keep debating with myself whether to join at the Chubby level - or wait until I have more free time to devote to reading.
I look forward to your chunkster reviews in 2010.
I'm sitting here wondering what I got myself into! I'm not sure how many books I read would be considered Chubby.
Happy Reading in 2010!
I'll leave the chunksters to you!! LOL!! Have fun with this one!
You're finding some good challenges. I look forward to reading your reviews.
