Monday Musing

It's Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by J Kaye's Book Blog to celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

Last week was an exceptional reading week for me. I read 10 books and finished listening to an audio book. Five of the books were young adult selections and one was a children's book.
Leaving Carolina by Tamara Leigh
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green (audio)
Solving Zoe by Barbara Dee
The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf
The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary Pearson
The Bride Backfire by Kelly Eileen Hake
Emily’s Ghost by Denise Giardina
Bonjour, Babar! By Jean De Brunhoff
If I Stay by Gayle Foreman
Kisses and Lies by Lauren Henderson
Love, Aubrey by Suzanne LaFleur

Still listening to Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon while walking and just started listening to The Tale of Despereaux in the car.

On deck this week:
Reality Check by Peter Abrahams
Something Maybe by Elizabeth Scott
Wherever Nina Lies by Lynn Weingarten.
If The Witness Lied by Caroline B. Cooney
She's In A Better Place by Angela Hunt
Green by Ted Dekker

Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about your bookshelf…

Does your house have a communal bookshelf? If not, is your bookshelf centrally located so everyone has access to it?

There are a few bookshelves spread all over the house as well as books piled up here and there (because I need more space). The books that I am planning on reading usually are stacked on the steps rather than on the bookshelves.

I don't have bookshelves since I have so many books. I keep them stacked in Rubbermaid bins and I need more since some books are falling all over the place. LOL

You had a great reading week. Whew! I couldn't leave books on my step because my son would fall over them. He never looks where he's going. Never.

looks like you read some good books last week. What a friendly image conjurs up in my mind--books strewn through out the house. Mine are currently homeless while we remodel :(

I have a very needed new bookshelf on it's way. I won it in a giveaway. Can't wait to put it together and start unstacking books on my last bookshelf.

You have a great reading list!

Green seems to be on others' list as well. I really should read a Dekker book. I kept meaning to do so but then forget. Green sounds like the book for me to read.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy Reading!
