Today kicks off BBAW with the assignment to talk about our favorite blogs that did not get shortlisted. I was humbled that my blog was nominated (but not shortlisted) and thank those who were so kind to nominate me. I want to highlight those blogs that are "new" to me this past year:
Staci from Life In The Thumb shares a love of YA books and I have got some great recommendations from her. We also share the great state of Michigan!
Another Stacy from Stacy's Books not only shares great reviews but fun quizzes as well. We are both Elinor Dashwood!
Yvonne from Socrates' Books Reviews participates in many of the same reading challenges as I do as well as does a fabulous job reviews books. She also shares her love of kitties with great pictures!

You are from Michigan, too? Did I know that? I just added Life in the Thumb to my Reader because she's from Michigan. You've been there for a long time now and I can't remember if I knew about the Michigan connection or not... I'm getting old. LOL! I grew up in Grand Rapids and hope to get back there some day.
And we're both pink ladies :) Thanks so much for thinking of me. I'm not familiar with Yvonne so I'll have to go check her out.
