MizB is hosting the Raved About Reads Challenge that begins June 30 and is an ongoing challenge to get those raved about books read.
"The challenge is to create (and read) a list of books you’ve always heard people rave about and thought you should read yourself…but always put off reading “until later”.
RULES:
*You can choose books that you’ve recently heard of IF a bunch of people are raving about how good they are and how everyone should read them.
*Your list has to have at least 3 books on it
* Yes, your list of books can overlap with other challenges.
* You can join the challenge any time, even if it’s past June 30/08.
Here are a few that I have wanted to read for awhile now:
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield **finished**
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Nifenegger **finished**
Pillars of The Earth by Ken Follett **finished**
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon **finished**
