Randi's theme for this Get Real Monday is favorite things. I saw this meme over at Deena's A Peek Inside My Bookshelf and it looked like fun and an easy meme to do since over on my "serious" blog I participated in Marriage Monday. The topic today asked are you a nagging, quarrelsome or critical wife and I didn't want to tax my brain anymore LOL! Well, this was not easy as I have so many favorite things. So here's a small sampling of my favorites:

Favorite author, Bible Study writer, speaker, Texan, Southern Girl, Beth Moore
Favorite car(dream car) Jaguar
Taking walks on our beautiful Boardwalk, watching the sunset

Book, books and more books especially The Bible
This picture tells two favorites: Teddy Bears and Phantom of the Opera
Hydrangeas
My very favorites would prefer that I don't post their picture: My hubby and three kids.

Oh, SO not fair...you went classy and did pictures!! LOL!!
You are becoming a blogging pro, my dear....
I like Beth Moore too. Her books are so inspiring!
I also like hydrangeas but they don't grow well here in Colorado because it is too dry. I just have to settle for enjoying your lovely pictures!
I love your favorite things. I've decided that this is the year I need to plant a hydrangea. Your picture convinced me even more.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Come back any time, especially tomorrow and see what other women are saying in our "Woman to Woman" writing forum.
You've got a great favourites list! The hydrangesas are beautiful!
I'm doing the Beth Moore Patriarch study right now. I'm really enjoying it. It's so good to really dig in the Word!
Like Randi, I can't grow Hydrangeas here. But I think they are beautiful. I'm anxiously waiting for the lilacs to start blooming here!
Ooooh. I love the hydrangeas! I have some of those too, but yours are prettier! I didn't think about putting them on my list. Cute Phantom of the Opera bear!
I just was the national Live telecast that Beth Moore did at my church...
And your hydrangeas are beautiful- I wish I had some, too! :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who juggles two blogs.
I, too, love hydrangeas. When we lived in Oklahoma I tried every summer (in vain) to get hydrangeas to grow. Now we live north of Seattle. I have two HUGE hydrangea bushes under my living room window.
Beautiful.
I gave my MIL some hydrangeas for easter, aren't they heavenly! I wonder if they'll grow outside here in Reno?
I haven't read any Beth Moore, I'll have to check her out!
Loved your list and how you illustrated it!!
We saw Phantom in SF and loved it :)
Thanks for visiting me, and I hope you come back again. I've bookmarked your site
:)
Oooh, what a beautiful view!! It's always a highlight for me when I get to visit an ocean.
I love hydrangeas too but I don't know if they will grow up here. I was contemplating trying them and hoping the growing season is long enough and the winter isn't too harsh. Enjoy them even more for those of us who can't have them ourselves! :)
Fun list of faves to read about..
Thanks for coming over!!!
Dawn at (4:53am)
I've gotta say that I love Jaguars too. They are my dream car and whenever I see one drive by I sigh. Glad to see I'm not the only one!
I love Phantom and hydrangeas too!
Hey, I saw your comment at Deena's, and when I saw your picture, I thought, "Gee. She looks like Denise Richards." Has anyone ever told you that? You're lovely!
Thank you Linda for the fine compliment. Nope, I have not heard Denise Richards yet. BUT, if I had a dime for everyone who said, "you look like that mom on Family Ties, what's her name?" Meredith Baxter! I would be RICH! LOL
LOL, you DO look like Meridith Baxter. Cha-ching. Another dime. :)
I'm soo addicted to seeing the lighthouse here. I use every excuse to drive past Lake Michigan.
Thanks for sharing your list. What a beautiful photo of your boardwalk. I forgot to add Hydrangeas to my list. I have two in my garden, just getting their leaves on. No blooms yet!
Cee Cee, which lighthouse are you driving past? Are we neighbors!
Kind of off-topic, but replying to a question you asked in a Comment on Deena's blog -- I loved Ted Dekker's "HEAVEN'S WAGER". It's a stand-alone, and it was very good! :o)
<>< Mizbooks
Mizb, books/authors are NEVER off topic. Thanks for the recommendation!
What a sweet list. I also enjoy sunsets. XO, Jill
