Tuesday Intro/Teaser

First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros is a weekly meme hosted by Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea every Tuesday. To participate share the opening paragraph or two of a book you've decided to read based on that paragraph. Please feel free to join in, First Chapter~First Paragraph~Tuesday Intros.

The abstract painting on the bedroom wall was new. It had been painted in fresh blood. There was blood everywhere in the elegant, white-on-white boudoir. It soaked the dead woman's silver satin evening gown and the carpet beneath her body. There was blood on the white velvet seat of the dainty chair in front of the pretty little dressing table. Wow! I've been eyeing this book, and now I must read it. I love one of the other versions of this author (Jayne Ann Krentz), so I need to give this alter ego a try. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

This is another very well-known author that I have never read. Will I read her someday? Don't know.

Crickey Nise', that's quite an opener! I don't know this author but I like the title and the opening style.
